PADDY
(To the tune of Ballanamona oro.)
I am glad my dear John, now to find that some laws,
Were lately repeal'd for a very good cause,
You know what they are, Tho' you wear a cockade;
By my love, 'twas Shillelagh that got a free trade.
For Ballanamona ora
And the sight of the bold volunteers.
. . . [6 more verses follow, signed] PADDY.
